Loredana Parrella
Artistic Director Cie Twain physical dance theatre Choreographer and dancer, director and actress. Loredana Parrella combines in her work the art of dance with a theatrical vision of the action and the scene, that achieves performances with a great theatrical and choreographic strength. After a long activity as a dancer treading the boards of remarkable theatres (such as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome) directed by great directors (such as Ronconi and De Simone), since the 90's she personally curated the dramaturgy and direction of contemporary dance companies (such as Aterballetto and Balletto Teatro di Torino). She has been for years choreographer and director for the most important theatres in Italy and abroad, such as Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Comunale di Modena, Birmingham TouringOpera, OperaZuid_Maastricht, Maggio Musica Fiorentino, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and Fondazione Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte Montepulciano. In 2017 her last creation Little Something won at “I Teatri del Sacro”, and her produtions toured in several European Countries and in USA. Currently, she's the artistic director of Cie Twain physical dance theatre – Dance Production Company supported by MiBACT - Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, TWAIN regional Dance Production Centre and National Residency supported by MiBACT and Regione Lazio Government. |
